Re: F18-100 controller, no power.
Hi, My battery pack is a 22s 5p, made of 26650 cells. Each cell is capable of 25amp continuous and 50amp burst. This feeds into a 150amp ANT BMS. Supply is protected by 100amp fuse. As stated in my post, the wiring is correct, I have checked it many times and this is not the first e bike I have buil...

F18-100 controller, no power.
Hi, I have just completed my new build. I don't want to go into a lot of details, but I am not getting any power to the motor. I have one of those Chinese hall testers. Using that, Motor phases are ok. Motor halls are okay. Plugged into controller, I am not getting any throttle reading. I am using a...

Re: Power to switch controller on
Sorry for all the questions, but one last one. From the controller I have a yellow and red wire in a plug labelled ignition. If I understand the wiring diagram, then the red is battery voltage from the battery supply to the controller and the yellow is battery voltage when connected to the red wire....

Re: Power to switch controller on
Okay, thank you. Sorry my post was not clear. My set up is, 12v key switch to precharger. This uses a resistor to charge up capacitors. When charged, the precharger sends 12v to the relay, that then connects the battery to the controller. My question is whether I could connect the ignition power to ...

Power to switch controller on
I am just finalizing my build. I am wiring in the 18F 8kw controller I bought a while back. I have a pre charge system set up. It checks the circuit then charges the capacitors and then switches the relay for main power. This is controlled from a 12v key switch. My question is, can I use the relay p...

Pre charge
I am in the process of building a Stealth type bike. I am using your 7kw controller. My battery pack will be 5p22s (But running at 80% - 90volts), which will be 25amp and 250amp burst capable. My question is, do I need to build a pre-charge circuit to the controller to protect the caps on battery co...

Maximum power
Hello, Quite sometime back I bought your 18fet 7kw controller with built in blue tooth. I am still in the process of building my bike, but am getting quite close to finish. I have a question about the power handling of the controller as I am a little confused. It stats 70amp max and 200amp phase cur...
