Re: Bluetooth Module

OK, first thing first. Can you see "PowerVeloCity-I" when you hit Connect button under Settings or when you go to Android BT scanner? Yes I checked both Bluetooth and Hall, and Phase connections 5 times and everything is correct. I only have the 52 volt battery, Hall, Phase, and throttle connected d...

Re: Moar ebike motor controller

We have seen customers hotrodding Bafangs with our 12F controllers in the past: http://powervelocity.com/home/56-12f-ebike-sinewavesilent-controller-android-ios-bluetooth-programmable-4kw.html They can do 40A up to 100v, so it's at least 2x more than even 1kw bafang can take. You would need to take ...

Re: Slow start and RPM limit not working

It's recommended leave all RPM levels at 100% and program Torque Levels in the app instead to limit the power and then use a three position switch to easily select the power level you need on the go. The torque level settings will not show the speed difference on a raised wheel but will be felt unde...

Re: Maximum power

It can take short bursts up to 100A, but needs to be configured for no more than 70A.
For the battery, it's always a good idea to exceed the controller specs. Thinking 80A would be a good number to target.

Re: Alarm advice

We used to have alarms with sirens but don't carry them anymore. It seems like it's all trending towards having phone based alarms (texting or calling to your phone) + GPS tracking. We are working on a solution that would integrate with the new BT module and the app. Adding a siren is a possibility ...
