Re: 6F controller stopped working

Disconnect the controller completely and check for continuity between each phase and positive/negative power connection. There should be no short anywhere. If there is one, the controller can be repaired by replacing the bad mosfet (a shorted one). Just sent Vlad about this issue, but maybe it's use...

Re: Power to switch controller on

Yes, you can do that. Sorry for all the questions, but one last one. From the controller I have a yellow and red wire in a plug labelled ignition. If I understand the wiring diagram, then the red is battery voltage from the battery supply to the controller and the yellow is battery voltage when conn...

Re: Power to switch controller on

Yes, you can turn on the ignition together with the main battery. The voltage supplied to the ignition is the same as in the battery positive terminal. You may want to add a 1A fuse in line if the wire going to the ignition.

Re: Power to switch controller on

Here is the recommended sequence: 1. Connect pre-charge circuit to charge the capacitors (have to be all the way up to the battery voltage, not just 12v or so) 2. Connect the main power (normally that would be the battery positive to the controller batt+ via a circuit breaker, relay, or such) 3. Con...

Re: Initial Set-up

Please make sure you don't do any pairing from the Android Bluetooth set up. If you did, please go ahead and delete it. If you have issues connecting, you may also want to clear Bluetooth cache. Here is how to do it: https://help.elitehrv.com/article/135-clear-bluetooth-cache-android Once you connec...

Re: Initial Set-up

This is repairable and you can send for repairs. Just need to pay for shipping and this works well if you are within the US. If outside, may take a while and shipping can be costly. However, we are about to release the new controller model which is a new generation with more power, more compact and ...

Re: Initial Set-up

Yes, it's starts reducing power when the battery voltage drops closer to the cutoff limit. That's to prevent the power cutoff under hard acceleration. You can change that behavior by lowering the cutoff limit. It sounds like the controller phases may be shorted, not the motor. You can disconnect the...

Re: Bluetooth Module 2.0

Very busy getting the NextGen controller produced and shipped this month. But the new standalone module is still in the works, just slowed a bit. Really hope to get the first batch done in February. Please check back soon. Any new word as to when the new Bluetooth module will be available for sale? 👍
