Pre charge

Unread post by Santacruz » Sun Jun 23, 2019 12:36 am

I am in the process of building a Stealth type bike.
I am using your 7kw controller.
My battery pack will be 5p22s (But running at 80% - 90volts), which will be 25amp and 250amp burst capable.
My question is, do I need to build a pre-charge circuit to the controller to protect the caps on battery connection?

It's highly recommended to have a pre-charge solution.
We have used connectors with pre-charge resistors such as XT90.
