I need a controller for a 72 volt li-ion setup that can handle 5000 watts continuous . Will this controller do it and can I run it sensorless and not even hook up the 5 phase wires ? Answer:
For 5kw continuous power output an 72v nominal voltage, we would recommend our 18F 100v controller. It's rated for up to 8kw, so it should suit your needs just right. And yes, we have dual mode (sensored/sensorless) option for this particular model.

It the bluetooth sending unit built inside the case? If not and it requires a dongle, is the dongle included?Does this controller have throttle regenerative braking? Thanks a bunch! Answer:
Can be installed inside or outside. The price includes the programming functionality but we know have full telemetry option (speed, voltage, current monitoring via the app). It's $50 extra.

Hello.. is this controller suitable for crystalyte crown series?-mika Answer:
We have a few customers that run this motor with our controllers. 12F controller is good up to 45A battery current. If you are planning to run more, we are recommending to choose an 18F or 24F model.

12f for the Mac motor with field weakening and 8t winding on fat bike what speed can I expect? Answer:
Depends on your battery voltage. At 48V, you should be looking at 45km/h unloaded speed or around 35km/h loaded speed without field weakening. with one, 20-30% faster. This is a rough estimate.

I have a 10inch QS 205 its a 4kw unit. I asked QS to ensure it would spin to 70km/h+ at 72v via Kelly keb72601x and 12s 20ah lipo. I suspect its wound for torque. But I only get 55km/h. Will the flux weakening feature on these controllers help get the extra speed I'm after? Can it be guaranteed? I like the idea that either way I could probably just run 18s. Answer:
The best way to get more speed is to use higher voltage.

I'm looking for an e-bike controller with variable regen and cruise control The way to operate would be to set speed and then the system either acts as motor or regen (with variable power) to maintain the speed. In a downhill situation with cruise control on the regen would act as brake to keep downhill speed constant (rather than just turning the motor torque off which would allow the ebike to accelerate due to gravity) Is this doable with your controller? Answer:
Currently the regen is set via programming. Cruise control function is supported and it works very well but it's not working the way you describe it.
